Camp4heroes presents National Hero Fest Day Salute to Veterans and First Responders

HERO FEST DAY is a celebration of service for our ‘heroes’ and the opportunity to showcase their talent in art, music, dance, poetry and comedy. This is a major fundraiser for the camp. Revenue from this fundraiser goes to help expand services for veterans and first responders who will continue to need our help and support. Hero Fest Day will be the event of the year…not only for the spectacle provided by those who serve our community, but also because it will be the fundraiser which allows Camp4Heroes to flourish and which will create the sanctuary where our service members can feel at home interacting with like minded individuals as they journey back to a place of peace within themselves.

The day will be packed full of entertainment provided by wounded veterans and first responders and celebrity guests as well. The day’s activities begin at 2:50 p.m. with the arrival of Honor the Warriors cycling troupe who is raising money per mile of their ride that day, and donate the receipts to Camp4Heroes. The Visual Art Explosion kicks off at 3pm, displaying Artwork and artistry created by wounded veterans and first responders.

The grand finale is a Variety Show from 7:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. A Donation of $25 includes the activities on the plaza, Art Explosion and the Show. Comedians, singers, and others who were selected to perform, round out the day. There will be a brief intermission for the Live Auction at 8:00 p.m. Throughout the event there will be opportunities to grab bites of food prepared by award winning chefs. Various levels of sponsorship for the event are available along with opportunities for volunteer work to help this event kick off flawlessly.
